Walking in the Light of Grace: 1 John 8:9
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
-1 John 1:8-9
As followers of Christ, it’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to appear perfect or "sinless." But John reminds us that pretending to be without sin only leads to self-deception. Acknowledging our sinfulness is not a weakness; it’s a gateway to God’s grace and healing. When we confess our sins, we open ourselves to God’s faithful forgiveness and the cleansing power of His love.
Confession is not just about listing our wrongs. It’s about aligning our hearts with God’s truth, allowing His light to reveal the hidden places within us. God isn’t surprised by our shortcomings. Instead, He invites us to bring them to Him so He can purify and transform us. Each time we admit our need for His grace, He meets us with forgiveness, washing away our guilt and restoring our relationship with Him.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness and willingness to forgive. Help me to walk in honesty before You, not hiding my sin but bringing it into the light. Give me the courage to confess, knowing that Your grace is greater than my failures. Cleanse my heart and draw me closer to You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

So I got a message from your site today and it was the last message of the day before I went to bed and I got this same message twice before two different people so I know God was talking to me and he used you to do it God bless you and keep up the good work msg was That Jesus Died on the cross for us so we can be forgiven for our sins so don’t feel ashamed are not worthy enough to take a step to Jesus amen

This message today depicts perfectly what I am going through. I had to break off my relationship this morning because I was trying to be perfect t and trying to be sinless and telling myself I was. But it caused so much tension and hurt and divided us from Christ. Thank you for this word and the work you are doing!
