The Peace that Holds: Isaiah 26:3
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

There’s a kind of peace the world tries to offer — temporary, surface-level, based on circumstances going your way. But the peace Isaiah speaks of here? It’s anchored peace. It’s not shaken by uncertainty, delays, or the weight of unknowns.
Isaiah wrote these words to a people surrounded by chaos and threat. And yet, the promise stands: perfect peace — not from escaping trouble, but from fixing your mind and trust on the One who stands above it.
This doesn’t mean life gets quiet. It means your soul does.
The Hebrew word for “perfect peace” is actually shalom shalom — double peace — a deep, whole, unshakable kind. That kind only comes from full trust in God.
If your mind has been drifting lately — toward fear, frustration, or distraction — Isaiah is inviting you back. Keep your mind on Him. Steady your thoughts on His character. Trust deeply, and that peace will hold.
Prayer: God, You are my peace when everything else feels unstable. Help me fix my thoughts on You — not on what I can’t control. Remind me that trust in You brings lasting peace, no matter what swirls around me. Anchor my heart today. Amen.

I trust God Jesus and The Holy Spirit 100%. I do not trust myself or my daughter. My biggest sin is worry. I also want to help God but guess I sometimes get in the way. I will say God has kept my daughter and myself safe and healthy. I pray that soon ( please soon Jesus ) He will give her a good Christian man to help her make good decisions.
