The Radiant Shield: Finding Blessings in Psalm 84:11

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly." 

- Psalm 84:11 (ESV)

God is a Sun and Shield: This signifies God's provision and protection. Just as the sun gives light and warmth, God provides guidance and sustenance for His people. And just as a shield protects in battle, God shields His people from harm and danger.

God bestows favor and honor: God is gracious and generous, freely giving favor and honor to His people. This demonstrates God's goodness and loving-kindness toward those who seek Him.

No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly: This is a promise of God's provision and care for His people. When we walk in obedience and righteousness before God, He provides all that is good for us according to His wisdom and purposes.
